• Electric drill
• Masonry or wood drill bits (depending on surface)
• Socket wrench or spanner
• Spirit level
• Pencil or marker
• Vacuum or dust brush
• Spika mounting bolts (included with your safe)

Please consider the following:

• The surface must be solid, dry, and level.
• Ensure there’s enough clearance for the safe door to open fully.

• Place your safe in the desired spot and use a spirit level to ensure it’s upright (some of our models are quite heavy, make sure you have assistance!).
• Open the door and mark fixing hole positions through the pre-drilled holes in the base (and back, if applicable).

• Move the safe aside carefully.
• Drill holes to the correct depth for the supplied anchor bolts:

Use a masonry bit for concrete.

Use a wood bit for timber floors (ensure solid joist support).

• Clear away any dust or debris.

• Reposition the safe and align the holes.
• Insert the supplied anchor bolts through the fixing holes.
• Tighten bolts firmly with a wrench while checking the safe remains level.
• Test stability — the safe should feel completely solid.

• Open and close the door several times to ensure smooth operation.
• Confirm the locking mechanism engages securely.
• Store your keys in a separate, secure location (not inside the safe).
• Record your safe’s serial number for warranty and registration.

• Check anchor bolts periodically for tightness.
• Keep the safe clean and dry to prevent corrosion.
• Never drill additional holes or modify the safe body.
